In the AI world, Machine learning plays an important role in data collection and refinement The data can be of different types including texts, images, videos, audio files and from different sources including IoT. Hence most of the engineers work in this domain in the IT field.

It's indeed important for us to understand the technology behind Machine learning.

Machine Learning has two types i.e the data available at the moment is broadly classified into two types

• Supervised Data

  • Excel Data, Database, RDBMS

• Unsupervised Data

  • Images, Videos, Audio files

These data sets should be refined at first before use. That's where our old school mathematics comes in to effect. Though Its not necessary to be specialised in topics given below, its important to be aware of them that forms the basis of Data refinement.

Supervised Data

Supervised datasets can produce results in numeric or non numerical format called Regression and Classification

Unsupervised Data
